Terms and Conditions of Use

This section contains our terms and conditions, please read them carefully as they along with the sections on Security, Products, Returns and Delivery form a legal agreement that you are agreeing to every time you access this website, place an order, send or receive correspondence and any brochures or leaflets we produce.  These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Ordering Goods

You can order products on-line by following the instructions on our website, your order becomes legally binding when you have pressed the confirm order button at the end of the checkout procedure.

You can also purchase goods via the telephone. 

Once your payment has been processed by us we will email you to acknowledge that your order has been received and is been processed, this normally happens within 5 working days.  If you do not have an email address we will acknowledge your order by post, this may take up to 7 working days.

We will then send you confirmation that your goods have been dispatched when they leave our warehouse facility. 

There may be occasions when we do not have a product available in stock.  In these instances we will inform you as soon as possible.

There may be times when we have to reserve the right to refuse an order for example if we can not process your payment.

Cancelling orders

You are entitled to cancel your contract with us within 7 working days of receiving the goods. Please following the guidance in the returns section in this instance.

Should you wish to cancel your contract prior to the dispatch of the goods please contact us by email as soon as possible.  If your order has already been dispatched, this usually happens up to 72 hours before delivery, please follow the advice in the returns section.

If you cancel your contract after the goods have been delivered or dispatched refunds will be made less the cost of delivery.  The conditions for returning items still apply as outlined in the returns section.

Payment

Payment for goods and delivery are payable in full when an order is placed

If you order via our website we can take payment via Visa, Visa Electron, Visa Delta, Mastercard, Maestro and Solo.  If you order via the telephone we can accept payment by cheque made payable to The Sleepyhead Bed Company Ltd.  Please do not send cash in the post as we can not accept responsibility for any loss.

All our products are made from top quality materials and meet European Safety Standards.  All our furniture carries a 2 year guarantee period against manufacturing defects.

The Sleepyhead Bed Company takes great care to ensure that the content of this website, any special offers, promotional material, new product information and competition details are correct. In particular to ensure that product descriptions and prices quoted are correct at the time of publishing.

All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours are as accurate as possible.

We will from time to time have special offers on some products.  Any item ordered before a price reduction either delivered or pending delivery can not be reduced.

We reserve the right to change the description of or add to or remove any product in our range.

Viruses - We do our best to ensure that our website is free from harmful viruses, however this can not be guaranteed and it is your responsibility to ensure information downloaded to your computer is checked for viruses.  We do not accept responsibility for damage to computing equipment as a result of using our website.

Links - Our website may contain links to other websites.  The Sleepyhead Bed Company can not accept responsibility for the contents of any other website to which this website has links.

Passwords - When you create an account on our website you will be asked to password protect it. You will need to keep your password confidential.  We can not accept responsibility for any loss you incur if you have failed to protect your account and a third party obtains access to it.
